10th ETSI/IQC Quantum Safe Cryptography Conference

[28 May 2024] Delegates from about 25 countries were in Singapore to discuss quantum-safe cryptography at the ETSI/IQC Quantum Safe Cryptography Conference (14-16 May 2024), which is hosted by CQT and supported by NQSN. NQSN also supported the organisation of satellite events held on 17 May - an ITU workshop “Insights on QKD & QKDN certification: Recent developments and challenges” and a meeting of the “Joint Coordination Activity on Quantum Key Distribution Network”.

Driving international and local standardisation of QKD Technologies

[20 October 2023] Internationally, NQSN is co-leading the first standardisation of the QKD protocol framework at the International Telecommunication Union (the United Nations specialized agency for ICT). Domestically, NQSN-led Singapore’s first local Standard (Reference Specification) on QKD Networks is now published under IMDA.

Singapore data centres exchange quantum-safe encrypted files

[05 June 2023] NQSN successfully accomplished its first data centre quantum key distribution trial with ST Telemedia Global Data Centres, with supports from NetLink Trust & ID Quantique.

Implementing a quantum-secured network in a metropolitan area

[06 Mar 2023] Two NQSN nodes, located at CQT and Horizon Quantum Computing, have been successfully connected via quantum-safe VPN. The implementation is done in collaboration with partners AWS Center for Quantum Networking, CQT, Horizon Quantum Computing and Fortinet.
